一天下午，我和瑞霞原本在操场上玩得开开心心。回到教室，一个顽皮的男生把她的扑克牌弄乱了。瑞霞有个毛病，她一生气就会肚子痛，她的肚子还真的痛了起来。我起初还以为没什么事，过一会儿就会好的。可是，没有想到，她的肚子却越来越痛。这下子我开始变得紧张起来，我能做些什么呢？老师也发现了她很不舒服，让我带她到医务室室去检查，没有想到那天医务室的老师刚好不在。哎呀，这可怎么办啊！刚才她下来都很困难了，那她还怎么回教室呢？我看着她一直蹲着，怎么都站不起来，我想，我就是背也要把她先背回教室，怎么能让我最好的'朋友这么难受地蹲在医务室的门口呢？但她怕我累着，死活不肯答应，这可怎么办呢？最后，还是她忍着疼痛，我小心翼翼地把她扶回了教室。

汤姆是一个飞行爱好者，一天，他约了四个朋友一起驾驶飞机出去游玩。在飞行过程中，飞机却突遭危险，急速下降起来。“我们必须尽快逃离飞机”。汤姆对自己的几个朋友说：“我们现在正好有五把降落伞，大家一起跳下去吧!”此时汤姆又转过身，深情地对自己最要好的一个朋友杰克说：“朋友，我带着他们三个先跳下去，你再操纵一下飞机，最后你再跳!”说完，汤姆和另外三个人就跳了下去。杰克又向前开了一会儿，发现实在坚持不下去了，便打开了降落伞包。可伞包里的东西着实让他大吃一惊，里面除了一堆衣服外，什么也没有!杰克非常气愤，但他已经顾不了那么多了，他立刻尽自己最大的努力控制飞机，终于安全降落了!

脱险之后，他来到朋友汤姆家想讨个公道，可已经好几周过去了，汤姆却还没有回来。杰克再次打开了伞包，发现里面还有一张这样的字条：下面就是大海，跳下去必死无疑。我们几个跳下去后，飞机的重量就会减轻，希望你能安全返航，祝你好运!——你永远的朋友汤姆……

看完这个故事，我最大的感受就是两个字——震撼!同时，我也获得了友谊的真正诠释：在危险关头能够牺牲自己，挽救朋友的生命，这就叫做友谊;在危险关头可以不顾自己的安危甚至朋友的误会，仅仅奢望朋友可以存活下来，这就叫做友谊!就像文中的主人公汤姆，他深知跳下飞机就会丧命，可他把生的希望留给了自己的朋友。在生命的最后时刻，他用一个善意的谎言阻止了杰克跳下飞机，并且最后保住了杰克的生命!

我想，朋友两个字不是简简单单地就可以说出口的，这里面的分量太重了!何谓朋友，就是在别人遇到挫折时给予别人鼓励与支持;就是在别人成功时给予别人祝福与赞赏;更是在危急时刻不顾自己，保护他人的人!朋友这两个字太难了，要想做到也真的太难了!

想一想在生活中，我们是如何对待自己的朋友的呢?我们即使不能像汤姆那样做的如此轰轰烈烈，但我们是否能站在朋友的立场，为朋友考虑呢?我们是不是什么时候都只想着自己，从来没有替别人想过呢?

but as helen foster snow remarks, “friendship is no common weed that grows along the way. it’s highly cultivated and watered day by day.” like an infant, it needs constant care; like a young tree, it can not be left to the tender mercies of severe weather. true friendship consists more in “a friend in need” to give to than “a friend in need” to take from. a true friend is a person who can be turned to, who is ready to lend a listening ear, who is willing to share feelings.
