“对不屈不挠的人来说，没有失败这回事儿”，是我最喜欢的一则格言，它是我前进的路标，是我远航的灯塔，每当我遇到困难时，它总会给我鼓励，提醒我要不屈不挠，坚持不懈地克服困难，不要半途而废。

记得一个烈日炎炎的下午，我和爸爸去爬山。山路崎岖，我和爸爸花了近一个小时，才爬上半山腰。望着山顶越来越近，我十分高兴，但同时最大的困难也来了，—— 一堵高3米多，接近60度的石坡挡住了去路。

由爸爸先上去接应我，只见他铆足劲儿，“蹭蹭蹭”几步就冲了上去。看见爸爸冲上去了，我也摩拳擦掌，跃跃欲试。

我使足全身力气，使劲往上冲，可由于力气不足，只冲到一半——就停了下来，我被迫死死地抱住一块大石头，生怕一不小心掉了下去。我抹了一把冷汗，害怕地望向脚下的“无底深渊”，恐惧地想：如果我摔下去会不会……我发抖的手更加死死地抱住石头不放。“快上来，别怕!”爸爸在上面呼喊我。“我……我不敢……我说话的声音都开始抖了起来。”“我还是下去吧”我边说边往下退，想“临阵脱逃”。“你怎么可以半途而废呢?”爸爸提醒我，“你不是常把对不屈不挠的人来说，没有失败这回事儿”这句话挂在嘴边吗，怎么现在就退缩了呢?是啊，正如格言所说的，我只有不屈不挠地坚持下去，才能爬上山顶，格言里面的十七个字，在此时却向印在我的脑海里面一般，分外有力，此时，我心中的恐惧变成了一股力量，而这股力量，激励着我爬上山顶。

我在这种力量的鼓励下，开始向上攀登，双手磨破，我永不停歇;烈日炎炎，我坚持不懈;石壁艰险，我毫不放弃。终于，我在这格言的鼓励下登上了山顶。
