当我们遇到困难，或是遭遇挫折时，有的人总是一把鼻涕一把眼泪地哭，有时甚至哭上半天，丝毫不知自己为何要流泪。记得有一次我有几道数学题不会，得不到解答，于是就哭了。这时爸爸走过来说：“你不能因为几道数学题而哭。知道吗?流泪不如流汗，如果你肯花点时间去思考，下工夫去研究，就对你很有帮助了，多流一些汗，总比流泪要值得。”我听了，马上擦干眼泪，再坐回去，仔细地分析题目中的每一个字，尽管汗珠一滴滴地流下来，我也不去擦拭，因为我知道了“流泪不如流汗”的道理。

在稻田里，经常可以看到那拿着锄头，日出而作，日落而息的勤劳的农夫们，正一次又一次用锄头翻松泥土。看，汗水正从他们的额头流下，从他们的脸颊滑过，但他们不在乎，还是继续劳作。他们花力气流血汗，最后总会有收获。所谓“一分耕耘，一分收获”就是这个道理，可以说收获是流汗换来的。

一滴泪水和一滴汗水是不同的，流泪的人到最后还是一无所获，但是流汗的人奋力地工作，最后终于可以尝到成功的果实。

“流泪不如流汗”，我们别再浪费这宝贵的时间，想想：当你滴下汗珠时，成功的果实已在萌芽，收获已在眼前了。同学们，多下点儿功夫，多流点儿汗，开创自己的一番大事业吧!

著名作家托尔斯泰曾经说过：“世界上只有两种人：一种是观察者，一种是演员。大多数人想改变世界，但没有人想改变自己。”要改变现状，就要改变自己；为了改变自己。你必须改变主意。所有的成就都是从正确的想法开始的。一连串的失败都是从错误的想法开始的。为了适应社会、环境和变化，我们必须学会改变自己。

柏拉图告诉弟弟和儿子，他会移山，弟弟和儿子纷纷求教。柏拉图笑着说：“很简单。山不来，我去。”兄妹俩一片哗然。

一个黑人小孩在他父亲的酿酒厂看守橡木桶。每天早上，他用抹布擦拭木桶，然后整齐地排成一排。令他气愤的是，风经常在一夜之间把他排列整齐的木桶吹翻。

在威斯敏斯特教堂的地下室，英国圣公会主教的墓碑上写着：当我年轻自由的时候，我的想象力没有极限，我梦想改变世界。当我变得成熟睿智的时候，我发现这个世界是不可改变的，所以我目光短浅，所以我才改变了我的国家！但是我的国家似乎是我无法改变的。当我到了晚年，带着最后一丝努力的希望，我决定只改变我的家人和我最亲近的人。他们根本不接受改变。现在，在我弥留之际，我突然意识到，如果我一开始只改变自己，那么我就可以依次改变我的家庭。然后，在他们的鼓舞和鼓励下，我也许能够改变我的国家。然后，谁知道呢，也许我可以改变整个世界。

人生如水，人只能适应环境。如果我们不能改变环境，我们应该改变自己。这样才能克服更多的困难，克服更多的挫折，实现自我。如果看不到自己的缺点和不足，就抱怨环境不利，从而把改变局面的希望寄托在改变环境上，真的没有用。虽然我们改变不了世界，但是我们可以改变自己，让我们用爱和智慧去面对一切环境。
